We love weddings almost as much as we love photography! We want you to enjoy your Kerry wedding photographs as much as you enjoyed your day; this means keeping simple choices simple and making your unique wedding photography dreams come true without disrupting your celebration.
This is your day not mine! Great images always begin with a relaxed couple so everything I do revolves around you. You are there to celebrate the most important day in your lives, and so we ensure that the photography is a part of that. Instead of a long session where you are away from your guests. We may ask to borrow you for just 1o minutes in two or three parts of the day ensuring that you miss nothing! Of course every wedding couple will have their own ideas of what they want from their photographs and most importantly, how they envisage the photography experience fitting into and around their day. My aim from the outset is to understand what you’re after and to support that with advice, inspiration and creativity.
With you from start to finish
From the moment you engage me as your wedding photographer, I’m available to help you develop your ideas and I’m keen to hear about all the special details you have planned. You can get in touch by email or phone whenever you like to explore ideas or talk through any concerns. I am a full time working photographer based in our Kenmare studio so my time is yours. I offer a variety of photography and image styles and you can see examples in my portfolio and sample albums. Whether you want a single style or a blended combination of styles, whether you know exactly what you want or are bewildered by the choices available to you, I am always happy to chat.
My whole focus is to bring you images that you will be able to enjoy for the rest of your lives. The moment I hand your Wedding Album over to you is the whole point for me. That’s the finishing line.
Leave your worries behind! Are you worried bout how family circumstances or wedding day dynamics might affect your wedding photography? Let me know your concerns and then just let me deal with this aspect of your day for you. By nature, weddings are emotional events, but with the right preparation, I can manage even the most complicated family dynamics with sensitivity and discretion.
If you’re feeling anxious about having your photograph taken, you are not alone! Many brides (and more grooms than you might imagine) are worried about how they will respond to the camera, or how they will come across in their final photographs. The most common way that couples deal with this anxiety is by underplaying how much photographs mean to them. They say they don’t want a fuss; they want to avoid unflattering shots and they avoid suggesting anything off the beaten track. The feedback I receive time and again from couples after the event is that they had no idea how much their photographs would mean to them in the long run. Don’t let common concerns define your once in a lifetime wedding photography experience!
If you feel uneasy about posing in front of the camera, a pre-wedding shoot will help you overcome those fears. This can be an individual or couple session in the privacy of my studio or out doors. We can practice to perfect poses that feel most natural to you so as to play down any features that you’d like to avoid. The digital images from your engagement or pre-wedding shoot are yours to keep.
An unobtrusive, no fuss Kerry wedding photography service
I aim to capture the wedding photographs that you want without the drama. Every wedding party is different and each couple have their own preferences about the way the wedding photography experience features in their event.
When we plan your wedding photographs, we will also talk about the practicalities of achieving what you want. This ensures that you get the photographs you want with the minimum distraction from your enjoyment of the day. On the day itself, my approach is flexible and unobtrusive, allowing the images to evolve as the day unfolds. Use of natural lighting and only essential equipment minimises my presence and allows me to discretely capture intimate and emotional moments that you will treasure.
Your choice of wedding photographer is a very personal one; I recommend checking out as many as possible before you make your selection. If there’s anything else you need to know to help you make your decision, don’t hesitate to get in touch for a no obligation chat, or email exchange.
Respecting your privacy
