Melanie and Luke's summer Kerry wedding

When Melanie first contacted us, the first 2020 lockdown had just started and surely no one really knew how to even begin wedding planning during the confusion. However, once you have seen their images in this memories slideshow, you will agree that during the quiet time Melanie & Luke managed to plan a summer Kerry wedding that will be talked about for years.

It really was a perfect mix of family, fun, glamour, quiet, reflection, noise and beauty. Their day started in Blackwater at Direendaragh Church and finished with the most amazing party in Kenmare. In-between we had a quick visit to the national park and of course Henry Street for our iconic ‘Kenmare wedding top of the town’ image.

It was lovely to see Pat O’Neill styling hair again, he must be one of the most longstanding and trusted wedding professionals in Kerry (if not Ireland). Super makeup by Lola, and throughout the day music was there to lift everyone. Caroline Spillane sang during the ceremony and then we had a surprise show-stopping appearance by Liam O’Connor and his band. It was a very special day and certainly one that this wedding photographer will NEVER forget.

So what happens now? After each wedding we produce a 100-page Graphstudio proof magazine for all our couples, I can’t wait to share that with Melanie and Luke. After that, it’s going to be full steam to produce their awesome luxury wedding album.

You can see a bit more about our luxury wedding albums right here and don’t forget our Kenmare studio has Ireland’s largest selection of sample wedding albums for you to look through. We’d love to have you visit.
