Outdoor Kerry Wedding Inspiration

Heyward and Josh came all the way across the Atlantic with family and friends to celebrate their outdoor wedding in Kenmare. They based themselves at Sheen Falls Lodge and kicked off with a barbecue outside on the lawn.  The next morning, the party headed off to the wild unspoilt landscapes of Gleninchaquin Park.  The weather was dry and provided perfect photographic light.  At the same time, there could not have been a more picturesque backdrop than the waterfalls and rocky outcrops.

Family and friends made the most of the wonderful accommodation space and spent a very chilled out morning preparing for their outdoor wedding day;  aside from the pure enjoyment, there was plenty of opportunity for us to capture more intimate moments.  We know that these images will hold particularly special meaning long into their future.

Outdoor wedding highlights

Before heading back to Kenmare, Heyward, Josh and their guests didn’t pass up the chance to sample the world famous hospitality and oysters of Helen’s Bar in Killmacillogue.

They rounded off their day by finally taking their celebration inside for an evening reception at Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare.
